1. The Service

Chakula provides software and content that can help users plan meals, record food choices, explore educational information, discover food options, and access related services. Features may vary by location, account type, platform, and availability.

2. Educational Purpose

Chakula is educational, not medical. Information from Chakula, including responses from Chema, is intended for general education and everyday decision support. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare or nutrition professional.

Do not use Chakula for emergencies or to make decisions that require professional medical judgment. If you have a medical condition, food allergy, eating disorder, pregnancy-related concern, medication interaction, or other health issue, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

3. Your Account

You agree not to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, misuse automated systems, upload malicious material, infringe others' rights, or use Chakula for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Chakula and its original software, branding, design, and content are owned by or licensed to Chakula Technologies. You retain ownership of content you submit, while granting us the limited rights necessary to process that content to provide, secure, and improve the service.

7. Availability and Changes

We may update, add, remove, suspend, or change features as the service evolves. We aim to keep Chakula available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Your Responsibility for Decisions

You remain responsible for your food choices, purchases, and use of information presented by Chakula. Educational suggestions may not account for every circumstance, ingredient, allergy, preference, or individual need.
